Pride of Ozone Park got the medals at the Olympics

Lauren Scruggs of Ozone Park, yep that's Queens won the gold medal in fencing at the Olympics in France, that's a country in Europe.

She won the silver medal last week and now the gold.

All at the young age of 21.

This is the first gold medal for the US women’s fencing team for the record and Lauren did it.

The Harvard student was born and raised in Ozone Park where her parents still live.

Queens is proud of her.
