Pomonok resident hauled to jail for sexting

Police arrested Shahiem Willis, 25 of Pomonok, Kew Garden Hills on Tuesday around 7am for allegedly exchanging sexual texts with a student.

Willis is an English Arts teacher at the NYC public school in Fresh Meadows where the student also attended.

Police reported the incident was reported between July 19 and July 20. 

Willis was arrested on a requested charge of acting in a manner injurious to a child.
