Police sirens scared away people at Americana in Manhasset

Nassau County police reported multiple out of state vehicles from PA, CT and NJ were arriving at Northern Blvd and Searingtown Road in Manhasset after the LIE Exits. Police reported tip offs of looters from out of state and alerted management at Americana Manhasset. Workers boarded up the shopping center earlier today for throngs of looters planning to "protest". Around 7:30pm, Nassau County police quietly approached out of state vehicles after parked in the shopping center. Then stopped vehicles on Northern Blvd with sirens. Overall, all vehicles left the area one by one after police followed them to both LIE and Northern Blvd. Americana was unharmed and untouched.
