Police officer shot in Long Island

Police are in Coram reporting an officer is shot. The incident occurred on Homestead Drive in Suffolk County. EMS transported the officer to Stonybrook Hospital in stable condition.

Several suspects are now holed up in a location on Mill Road after one suspect is in custody.

Heavy police operation in the area.
