Police investigation at the local Kissena Park in Flushing

On Thursday afternoon around 3:30pm, police reported a female teen, 13 years old, was sexually assaulted after forcing into the hideaway of the local Kissena Park. This is on Colden Street near Kalmia Avenue near the local school in Flushing. The suspect, male, displayed a knife and approached a teen male and female who were inside the park. This is when the suspect stole phones from both victims and sexually assaulted the female victim.

EMS transported both victims to a local hospital.

The suspect took off on foot.

Police are on the hunt for the suspect.
