Police didn t believe the need for Amber Alert

NYS Police stated to the media that they didn't believe an Amber Alert was warranted for the missing child, 2 year old Jovani Ligurgo because the father had no history of violence. Firefighters confirmed two beds inside the child's father John Ligurgo, 43, home were set on fire. Although Suffolk County police reported a rifle was missing from the father's home. More details are pending investigation.
