Police busted a Queens Village woman for Publishers Clearing House scam

Nassau County detectives arrested Lenkeisha Bolton, 28 of Queens Village after investigation leads to scamming an elderly man in Plainview using Publishers Clearing House. Her accomplice, Dimitri Blanchard of Baldwin was also arrested.

Police reported a 79 year old man living in Plainview received anonymous call claiming he won the sweepstakes that's part of Publishers Clearing House. In order to claim his winning, he was told to deposit for taxes and service fees which totaled to almost $150,000 on multiple occasions.

On March 5, the victim was contacted to mail another $25,000 to the Queens Village address. That's when police were notified leading to arrests. Both were charged with pending arraignments.
