Police arrest teen in connection with shooting of victim 15 on NYC subway

Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect for allegedly shooting another teen while the two were on a subway together.

At approximately 6 p.m. Monday, April 27, a 15-year-old boy was shot by a then-unknown suspect in the neck and back after an argument on a northbound A train in Queens, police previously said.

The suspect then got off the train as it pulled into the 80th Street Station and fled the area on foot.

The 16-year-old, whose identity is being withheld by police, was arrested Wednesday, April 29, in connection with the shooting.

He was charged with attempted murder, three counts of assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
