Police are reporting homicide of a baby in Springfield Gardens

Jeremiah Callaghan, a 11 year old baby died after admitted to LIJ Children's Medical Center on Thursday, August 31 around 8pm. Medical doctors alerted police and the investigation is ongoing after the baby went into coma. The baby lives with his grandparents on 144th Avenue and 231st Street in Springfield Gardens. Police reported the mother of baby lives in Texas. Numerous speculations arised from the investigation and due to ongoing, police has not reported what the cause of death until medical examiner complete autopsy.
