Police are reporting burglary in Glen Oaks

Police are at 256th Street and Union Turnpike reporting a home was burglarized and perp took off after witnesses yelled and calling 911. The perp tried to take off by stealing the vehicle but escaped n foot toward north side of Glen Oaks Village Co-op from the parking lot. Police are searching around.
