Police are on Hillside Avenue in NHP

Three Nassau County police vehicles are on the corner of Langdale Street and Hillside Avenue reporting attempted assault and harassment. Several witnesses reported a male, white was leaving the local bar and got into argument with people waiting for the bus who then called 911. One person, male, Hispanic who was waiting for the bus nearly assaulted the white male and took off. Police are on the scene. Afterward, the white male left the scene without charges filed. He was not under arrest since he claimed he was the victim.
