Police are investigating bank robberies in Long Island City

Police reported a suspect who robbed banks in Long Island City is also wanted for the same crime in Brooklyn. More than five banks were robbed in Brooklyn. The latest incident occurred on February 28 at Bank of America, 24-10 Jackson Avenue around 10:45am. The perp walked away without any cash. Shortly, another robbery was reported at TD Bank on 21-31 46th Avenue around 11am. Police described the suspect as male, black between 30 to 40, 5'7". Ongoing investigation.
