Please understand they are the victim of homeless in NYC

NYPD reported until Sunday evening, 23 people were robbed inside NYC subways from Friday late afternoon onward. According to the NYC Mayor's Office, most suspects are homeless and unable to survive and they are the real victims. Two lines in Queens reported the most incidents, Queens Blvd lines including E,F,R,L,M and the 7 line from Flushing to Manhattan. Today, 8 people were assaulted in the 7 line including one stabbed after an altercation that started at 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue subway station. The stabbing occurred at Broadway and 65th Street by 3 victims, males, Hispanic.

Today, a group of social service organizations approached the City Council demanding the homeless shelters to improve including healthier food and adjustable beds. The deteriorating conditions in the shelters have caused many to roam inside the subways as the victims. Most of the homeless are formerly incarcerated and also unable to afford to pay rent due to no jobs.

Also, the Mayor's Vision Zero reported 313 people injured from vehicle accidents over the weekends.
