Plainview man arrested for selling fireworks

The Fourth Precinct POP Unit (Problem Oriented Policing) reports the arrest of a Plainview man for the Sale of Illegal Fireworks that occurred on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 12:06 p.m. in Inwood.

According to Police, the Fourth Precinct POP Unit conducted an investigation for illegal fireworks at a Discount Store, located at 581 Burnside Avenue. Officers observed illegal fireworks for sale and arrested defendant Cheng Wu Wang, 49, without incident. The illegal fireworks were seized by the Nassau County Police Department.

Defendant Wang is charged with Unlawfully Selling Fireworks. He was issued an Appearance Ticket at scene.
