Plainfield Avenue closed in Floral Park

The NCPD closed Plainfield Avenue in Floral Park reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle and who later died at the hospital. This is by Woodbine Court. Police say the victim, a 62 year old male, was struck by a school bus. EMS treated all inside the bus.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

The school bus driver continues to cooperate with the investigation.
