Pedestrian struck by vehicle in critical condition at Hollis

Police were called to the intersection of Hollis Avenue and 200th Street in Hollis reporting a pedestrian was struck by vehicle. The driver took off toward north and was last seen on Jamaica Avenue heading westbound. EMS reported the victim is in grave condition and may not make it. Police are checking surveillance as the investigation is ongoing. It happened on March 23 around 10pm.
