Pedestrian struck by vehicle died in Middle Village

Police closed the intersection of Cooper Avenue and 84th Street reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle died later in the hospital. This is in Middle Village. The driver took off without stopping. It happened around 6pm. Ongoing investigation.
