Pedestrian struck by vehicle died in Hicksville and another in stable condition from the Bellerose hit and run

The NCPD reported a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in Hicksville died from injuries. The incident was reported on Friday on Jerusalem Avenue near Parc Lane. The 81 year old male died over the weekend. The driver is cooperating with the police.

Also, another male pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in Bellerose is in stable condition at a local hospital. The incident happened on Friday at the corner of Commonwealth Blvd and 89th Avenue. This was a hit and run. Police are investigating the incident.
