Pedestrian struck by vehicle died in Astoria

Police closed off Astoria Blvd by 43rd Street reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle and died at the local hospital. Highway CIS and ESU are working on the scene. The driver remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Use alternate route.
