Pedestrian dead after struck by vehicle in Ridgewood

Police closed off Metropolitan Avenue near Rentar Plaza by the high school and cemetery reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle died. ESU is working on the scene. The driver of Escalade remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
