Patience hands fingers slow and steady echo driving your heads

Maybe it's the people and not cars!

How about this one.

After spending over $700 million for the Kew Gardens Interchange, one little mishap is still causing traffic delays on the Grand Central Parkway eastbound. Drivers are confused about exit signs from eastbound, Union Turnpike, Van Wyck Expressway to Jackie Robinson Parkway.

Oh the confusion.

The same with local roads where some drivers have no patience for those going at a normal pace as you can see a hit and run on 80th Avenue near Commonwealth Blvd in Bellerose on Saturday morning. The driver of Tesla obeyed all rules, laws and guidelines but ended up with vehicle damages.

Now read this.

There is a new NO TOUCH law in NY which means you can't use your phones with your hands while driving. This means you can't touch your phones while they are mounted or not. This is different from hands free law in the state. The hands free law was enforced in 2001 which means you can't use your hands for phones while driving. Now fingers are enforced.

This enforcement was passed quietly and fines range from $150 to 3 points fine on June 5, 2025.

The local elected officials are bringing more enforcement and a message of patience while driving on the road with love, slow and steady.

Enjoy.
