Panhandler arrested after breaking bystander s car window in Jamaica

Police arrested a panhandler for breaking a car window after the driver refused to give anything. The incident happened on Sunday morning at the drive thru McDonald's on Jamaica Avenue near Queens Blvd and Van Wyck Expressway in Jamaica. Three children were inside the vehicle when it happened. The children suffered minor injuries from the broken glass. The father of the children was attacked with an unknown object when he confronted the panhandler. Police located the panhandler near the hospital and was arrested. Ongoing investigation.
