Package thefts continue to rise on one stretch of Union Turnpike

Police reported multiple package thefts in the vicinity of Union Turnpike from Commonwealth Blvd to Lakeville Road.

Reported two suspects wearing construction uniforms walking around checking for packages around Glen Oaks while alerting another for pick ups.

According to security, the intruders are driving around the area while following delivery vehicles and remove the packages. Ongoing investigation.
