Operation Hard Hat launched in NY

The NYS police trooper launched Operation Hard Hat which will patrol active work zones in NY to ticket motorists who disobey work zone traffic laws. This came after the NYS Dept of Transportation announced to the public of advising drivers to move over in construction work zones. The officers will be wearing construction uniforms to track down drivers disobeying the laws. In a social media announcement posted by NYS police with the image attached, the middle gentleman is Trooper Eric Dwyer with the message, "We want these workers to all go home safe at the end of their work day!"
