Operation Fare Pay launched today in NYC

Starting today, 800 cops will be inside the NYC subways to address fare evasion. This came after civilian complaints from theft of service.

Jackson Heights station in Queens will have the most enforcement while Hoyt Avenue in Brooklyn will have the largest police presence.

The presence will continue for the next 5 days in NYC.

The Mayor's Office is now reviewing a plan to add a new one called, Fare Evasive Enforcement and if confirmed, a press statement will be announced in the coming weeks.

Also, a new technology to detect weapons will be launched inside the subways similar to that movie, Total Recall with Arnold.
