Online scammmer targeting victims with false promises in Floral Park area

Police reported a suspect wanted for scamming victims in Floral Park area including Bellerose and Glen Oaks by posting too good to be true ads of items for sale. Once the meeting is arranged, the victims were deprived of their personal belongings. Reported two incidents happened on April 5 and 6 in the vicinity of Little Neck Parkway between Jericho Turnpike and Union Turnpike. Police are advising potential buyers to meet inside or outside 105th or local precinct for meet to buy or sell items. The suspect is described as male, 20's and light skin according to one victim. Ongoing investigation.
