One suspect in custody after robbery at Sonic in East Meadow

Police reported armed robbery at Sonic in 1724 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. During the robbery, an off duty police officer witnessed and placed both suspects in custody. It happened around 11pm. No injuries. Shortly, second person was caught. They are identified as Victor Garrison, 17 of Freeport and Edwin Pierre, 18, also of Freeport. Both were charged with robberies.
