One student in custody after threat to shoot people in Hempstead High School

Police were called to 201 President Street where Hempstead High School is located reporting a student threatened to shoot others inside. The school was on lock down around 12:50pm. The lock down was lifted when one student was taken into custody. Ongoing investigation.
