One shot one stabbed eight robbed in Jamaica vicinity

Around 5pm on Sunday, a dispute turned into stabbing in Jamaica. This is on 165th Street and 85th Avenue. EMS transported the stabbed victim to a local hospital.

The suspect has not been apprehended.

On Sunday morning around 6am, a male was shot to death near Merrick Blvd. This is by 126th Avenue in St Albans.

The suspect took off in a vehicle and no arrests as of today.

As for the robberies, all were armed and strong arm incidents in the Jamaica vicinity since Sunday. Eight people were robbed by suspects using weapons.

Police have increased patrols on Merrick Blvd, Farmers Blvd and Linden Blvd after teen gang activities have plagued. So far 6 people were shot in the same vicinity.

One of the victims from the stray bullet on Farmers Blvd died and police arrested the 15 year old suspect last week.

Also the latest robbery incident was reported today on Parsons Blvd and 90th Avenue today around 1pm.

All incidents are under investigation.
