One red district in the Bronx stalled 800 000

The NYS Governor is sad that the plan to build an 800,000 housing mandate in the state won't happen due to election time. After the Bronx went red in the last City Council election and more people switched to Republican, the plan also has a new case filed in Suffolk County that went red.

The zoning in Long Island will remain as it is.

Another bill, the Good Cause Eviction was also knocked down and housing vouchers had decreased in the red districts.

As for the NYC Mayor on Accessory Dwelling Unit to add more housing from basement to garage, 114 homeowners have applied so far. The Mayor expected high applicants but one of the main reason is due to questionnaires that requires details and may require architect to lend a hand for the forms.
