One precinct in NYC to kick off its cops with body cameras

Thursday, April 27 at 8am when the morning shift starts for NYPD officers at 34th Precinct, they will be out with body cameras. From there, another 20 more precincts will have body cameras equipped by end of summer. The entire NYPD will have it by end of 2019. At the same time, civilians can use body cameras equipped to themselves if there is a case need to be presented to court. Mayor di Blasio call it a win win for both NYPD and civilians. Reported 11pm.
