One plus one equals hundred NYCHA coming soon in NYC

Remember the four letter word in NYC that will be the most talked and it's RENT. Again, R-E-N-T.

The NYC Mayor is pleased to announce more buildings under NYCHA will be moved to private companies instead of the city managing them. One primary reason is the budget crisis affecting more costs from non-payments to maintenance.

The latest announcement came for Flushing and its 506 apartments under NYCHA will be private after a major company acquired them. They are 137-20 45th Avenue and three buildings on Colden Street near the local junior high school, 237. They are 44-15, 44-35 and 45-15 locations.

This is across Kissena Corridor Park and that’s a spectacular view of the park from one to the next, The Botanical Garden.

The new owner will keep it under affordable housing for the next 40 years with renovations to stay up to date.

The next one under discussion in Pomonok, another NYCHA, a goldmine for the developers that have surrounded the area with new towers including a multi storied apartments set next to the 107th Precinct.

The only hidden agenda is the rent and how it will affect when its no longer under NYCHA.
