One person stabbed in Glen Oaks

Heavy police presence on Little Neck Parkway and 260th Street reporting one person stabbed in the chest. Reporting it was a domestic incident turned into a stabbing. The tenant, a female reported of her current boyfriend stabbed by ex-boyfriend. Police are now searching for the suspect who stabbed and he has been identified as Rafael Cruz. He is male, 26, Hispanic. EMS reported the stabbing victim is in critical condition. Chopper and K-9 notified for search for Cruz who is hiding in the area. He was seen driving a gray Mitsubishi with NY plates, HTZ9941 which was seen near the public park on 260th Street and 75th Avenue. Glen Oaks Village Co-op residents are advised to be extra careful due to the perp being armed with weapon. Ongoing investigation.
