One person arrested for rape in Floral Park

Police reported rape at residence on 83rd Avenue between 259th and 260th Streets. It happened on October 20th around 3pm. The victim was living in the basement. A neighbor reported the male perp was the owner of home. Due to victim's lack of cooperation fearing community backlash of her ethnic group, police are continuing with the investigation.
