One part of Kissena Park closed for investigation

The NYPD closed one part of Kissena Park repeating an off duty cop died of self inflicted gunshot wounds. This is by Oak Avenue in Flushing. Police sources stated the deceased was an NYPD sergeant.

Additional details were not provided.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct autopsy. Reported the body was found inside a vehicle after neighbors called 911 of shots fired around 8pm tonight.
