One million trees coming to NYC

It's all about the environment. Starting Monday, NYC Mayor's Office will outline plans to add 1 million trees in all five boroughs.

The borough presidents will also announce the details along with park advocates and climate groups.

The plan is to plant 1 million trees for the next 10 years to keep people busy. Homeowners are encouraged to get sewer line insurance if trees are not planted properly and damage the water line. The NYC Dept of Environmental has the plan for insurance or private companies offer better choices.

On the bright side, trees give fresh oxygen to all.
