One mess on Hillside Avenue in NHP

Around 3pm this afternoon, police were called to eastbound Hillside Avenue reporting a multiple vehicle accident. This is near Langdale Street in New Hyde Park. Several witnesses reported a wrong-way driver resulting in a crash with oncoming vehicles.

Another group of drivers reported a driver was going erratically moving to the westbound from the parking lot trying to cross the concrete shoulder when the crash occurred.

EMS reported minor injuries.

Police are working to clear the traffic.
