One long day for vehicle crashed around the area

The NYPD, NCPD and SCPD reported almost all the vehicles that crashed on July 4th were involved in speed and reckless endangerment.

So far three drivers were arrested for DWI on Long Island.

As for NYC, eighteen were arrested for the same incidents around the five boroughs in the preliminary report.

Long Island reported motorcycle accidents with critical condition updates.

Two people are fighting for their lives after a crash that sent shockwaves on the Belt Parkway in the vicinity of Cross Bay Blvd Exit in Howard Beach around 6am this morning. A driver lost control of a speeding BMW and hit two other oncoming vehicles by flying from the divider to the opposite direction.

Around 8pm last night on Tulip Avenue in Floral Park, a single crash with a vehicle overturned across the local library near the LIRR. A witness told police the driver hit a parked vehicle and then flipped with people inside. ESU uprighted the vehicle from the picture seen.
