One lane gone on Northern Blvd from Woodside to Corona

Peddling or walking is the newest fashion in NYC.

Starting today, Northern Blvd will have one lane kaput to make waves for bus lanes with red color and cameras soon to add to catch naughty drivers. Work will start from 114th Street to Broadway from Corona to Woodside.

This means only one for drivers in both directions to increase bus speeds and transit signal priority.

The 4.6 miles will provide alternate transportation of either bike or bus lanes.

The NYC Dept of Transportation will make the announcement of the final launch with fanfare for the public to attend.

Also, Union Turnpike, Hillside Avenue and Queens Blvd are still in the early stages of review with more paper works passing around for the next stage.

It's a great way to be out in the public to peddle or walk with maybe huffing and puffing.
