One in custody for car takeover in Middle Village

Today, the NYPD announced on Twitter of one arrest from the car meet last weekend. The local elected official Phil Wong who worked tirelessly with the NYPD announced the arrest to the community.

Wong quoted this last week on FB,

“I’ve seen the videos of the car takeover at 69th Street and Eliot Ave, and it’s disgusting. We are not putting up with this garbage in our neighborhood.”

This is the first update of the arrest.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues.
