One in custody after firebombing incident in Queens

Police were called to Ridgewood reporting residents woke to loud explosion noise from the roof of their building.

Further investigation reported this was an attempted firebombing on the roof of the residential apartment.

This is on Linden Street and Onderdonk Avenue in Ridgewood. Police recovered Drain-O, Pepsi large bottles and more.

From the surveillance video, one person was apprehended.

There were no injuries.

Ongoing investigation.
