One dead another fighting for life after Jamaica Bay water rescue

The FDNY reported calls came in around 11:30am for two male teens missing in the water in Jamaica Bay. This is in Howard Beach by Cross Bay Blvd next to the North Channel Bridge. The search started with first responders pulling out all five and one died at the hospital. Another one is in critical condition.

The other three are being observed by the hospital but only minor injuries.

Ongoing investigation.
