One dead after police involved shooting near Times Square

Police closed off 52nd Street and 8th Avenue after shooting. One perp is dead at the scene.

Three police officers are injured. More arrests are taking place. Also police are working on crowd control as well as more people are leaving after seeing the dead body.

ESU recovered shell casings.

No officer was shot.

Heavy police presence at the area.

Police are working on crowd control.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - The perp is not dead but shot and unconscious.
