One dead after fire in Nassau County

The NCPD reported fire at 151 W Fulton Avenue. This is a private dwelling in Roosevelt, Nassau County. The fire started around 5pm and was brought under control by 6pm. EMS reported one dead from the home after transporting to a local hospital. The cause of fire is under investigation.
