One dead after crash on the CE northbound

The Clearview Expressway is closed after one dead from car crash. This is on the northbound by the LIE exit. The crash reported around 2:15am last night.

Highway CIS is working on the scene.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - Police reported this was a single vehicle slammed into a guardrail in the middle of a highway due to speeding. A passenger in the same vehicle is in critical condition at the local hospital. The 20 year driver of 2007 Honda Accord died at the scene. The Honda then swerved across all lanes of the expressway to the righthand shoulder where it hit a tree near 73rd Avenue.
