One dead after car crash on the SSP westbound

The NCPD reported multiple vehicle accidents with one dead on the Southern State Parkway westbound. The incident occurred last night around 2:30am by Exit 24 in Hempstead.

According to police, a motorcyclist was involved with two other vehicles and the motorcycle rider died at the scene after the collision.

The investigation continues.
