One dead after car crash in Long Island

The SCPD reported after midnight a car crash on Jericho Turnpike in Commack. This is by Verleye Avenue. EMS reported one dead and one in critical condition. EMS transported the critical condition victim to a local hospital.

The cause of accident is under investigation.
