One dead after Jamaica house fire today morning

FDNY reported heavy fire at a home in Jamaica with one dead.

This is a private dwelling on 146th Street near Foch Blvd.

The fire started around 11am and then extended throughout the home.

It was brought under control after 12pm after it was declared third alarm.

The fire marshal reported an ebike was found next to the dead victim inside.

Although the fire marshal reported the cause of fire is under investigation and not ruled out anything as of yet.
