One cop slashed and another assaulted in Richmond Hill

Police were called for domestic incident at a home on Liberty Avenue and 114th Street. One woman taken to hospital. One suspect arrested. One police officer slashed in the face. Another off duty cop assaulted. Ongoing investigation. The arrested man has been identified as Harmarine Persaud, 28 of Brooklyn and charged with assaulting a cop, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstruction of governmental administration.
