One block in Glen Oaks has stop work order and demolition

The new location of SNAP at 254-04 Union Turnpike in Glen Oaks has received another stop work order for the entire site due to lack of safety.

At the same time, NYC building dept issued demolition notice to the former location of planned Jewish Center on the corner of 254 Street and 80 Avenue which will be an Asian Indian center.

Work has started and construction plans under review with the city officials. Meanwhile, the SNAP for seniors are unable to raise the $900,000 fund setup. So far $5,535 have raised in 36 months with 56 donations.
